Anonymous: Hello love what did you do on your holidays? Any special gifts or events?
Greetings sunshine. I hung around with my family for the Holidays, and then after Christmas I went to see my significant other and his family. I then took a trip with my significant other to a beach house (Outer Banks of NC), where we spent a couple of days together and welcomed the new year.
I received some special gifts this Christmas, including a beautiful hand-stamped necklace with an inspirational quote (from my parents), and awesome gifts from my significant other: 2 Philadelphia Flyers tickets (vs the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 18th), a Philadelphia Flyers ‘Steal Your Face’ Tee, and 2 romantic dinner cruise tickets for him and I.
On New Years Eve we hung out with some locals of the Outer Banks, and drank champagne mixed with chambord all night (4 of us went through 5 bottles of champagne). I was the driver so I let Matt drink. It was a great night. :)
finally at that place where my soul is soothed by the sound of ocean waves and the smell of salt in the air, where i am numb to the trial and tribulations of the world, and instead can focus and feel the warmth of the sun on my skin and i can feel my bones shake with every thunder and lightning bolt. i am home, in every sense of the word.
